At the core of PathFinder’s MWD/LWD system is the modular fixed collar HDS-1L directional tool with positive-pulse telemetry. The tool provides continuous inclination and azimuth information and acts as the telemetry module to make real-time data transmission possible. The DataLink™ provides real-time communication with PathFinder LWD sensors.
The HDS1-R MWD system represents PathFinder’s retrievable MWD system providing accurate inclination/azimuth measurements for directional and horizontal drilling applications. A gamma ray log is also available with the optional gamma sub.
The SURVIVOR™ HDS-1L tool is a high-speed positive-pulse telemetry system engineered to operate in hostile drilling environments. The tool provides continuous inclination and azimuth information and acts as a telemetry module to make real-time data transmission possible.
The SURVIVOR™ HDS-1R™ is a retrievable HPHT system. The SURVIVOR™ HDS-1R™ can be retrieved through inside diameters as small as 2.125” minimizing lost-in-hole risk in drill strings as small as 2 .875”.
The SURVIVOR™ HDS-1G™ tool is designed to operate in hostile drilling environments where magnetic interference can be problematic.
The Split HDS-1 is the latest innovation based on the dependable HDS-1 and MultiLink platform. The HDS-1S is a 16 ft. non-magnetic MWD collar specifically designed to allow the HDS-1 probe to be configured to include directional sensors, Gravity MWD™ (HDS-1G™) sensors, and/or gamma sensors.
